2010 Air Force Hoops Official Rules
No Purchase Necessary

About the Promotion: The Air Force Hoops Promotion is a free entertainment game offered in conjunction with the 2010 men’s college basketball championship.

The object is to pick the winning teams in each of the games played during this year´s tournament. You don´t win prizes for picking the right teams through the bracket but it does give you bragging rights for the entire Air Force.

Prizes are awarded based on random drawing of people who register to play Air Force Hoops.

The tournament is “single-elimination” which means losing teams are eliminated while winning teams advance to the next round. This competition begins with 64 teams; half are eliminated during each round. Point values for successful choices vary with the round. See “Scoring Section” for more details.

1.   Eligibility: To participate in the promotion, you must be 18 years or older at the time of entry and the holder of a U.S. Department of Defense ID card and be an otherwise eligible user of MWR programs and facilities. Employees of the Air Force Services Agency, Force Support Squadron (FSS) commanders, directors, deputies, flight chiefs, operations officers and AF Services marketing personnel or any other person involved with the management of or employment in a participating Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) food and beverage facility providing services related to this promotion and their immediate family members and persons living in the same households as such individuals, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter and Deadlines: To play, pick up a game piece from a participating FSS food and beverage facility to include, clubs, snack bars, bowling centers and golf course snack bars.

To enter, register on-line using the code on the game piece (up to 10 game pieces). You may also create up to 10 tournament brackets (for entertainment purposes only). Game pieces become available February 15, 2010. You may register your on-line ID anytime; however, brackets cannot be filled in until the games are announced on March 14, 2010. You have until the published tip-off time of the first 2010 Tournament game on Thursday, March 18, 2010 to complete and/or make revisions to your Game Bracket(s). The exact deadline will be posted on the Promotion Website, www.afhoops.com when officially announced. You may enter up to 10 separate game pieces (scratch card codes), which are acquired from participating Force Support Squadron food and beverage activities including bowling centers, golf courses and club facilities.

Receipt of an entry occurs when servers record your Registration Information and/or Scratch Card Code when properly submitted from the Promotion Website. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a person associated with a particular entry, the dispute will be resolved in favor of the individual who is best matched to the registration information, which includes name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and base assigned. All potential prize winners will be required to show proof of eligibility.

LIMIT 10 ENTREES PER PERSON. To increase your odds of winning enter up to 10 scratch card codes. You may fill out one bracket for each Scratch Card Code entry (played for entertainment purposes only).

Although subsequent attempts to enter may be received, only the first 10 Scratch Card Codes received from a particular individual will count; subsequent attempts to enter will be disqualified. The submission of a registration is solely the responsibility of the Entrant. Entries may only be made according to the method described above. Proof of sending (such as an automated computer receipt confirming delivery of email, "thanks for entering" message, or post office receipt) does not constitute proof of actual receipt by Air Force Hoops Officials of an entry for purposes of these Official Rules. Automated entries (including but not limited to entries submitted using any bot, script, macro, or promotion submission service), copies, third party entries, facsimiles and/or mechanical reproductions are not permitted and will be disqualified. Only eligible entries actually received by Promotion Entities before the end of the specified entry period will be considered for a prize in this Promotion. Unintelligible, incomplete or garbled entries will be disqualified.

To play, pick up a game piece from a participating Force Support Squadron food and beverage facility to include, clubs, snack bars, bowling centers and golf course snack bars.
